Where has this year gone ? most of our 2014 Elegance Bride’s have now all flown our elegant nest and will be looking forward to their first married Christmas, it fills us with a sense of pride when we receive photo’s and thank you cards from our bride’s which we pin proudly display on our wall of fame in our fitting suite, Congratulations Ladies, we really are going to miss you ! So ! 2014 has turned out to be a record breaking year, we have smashed last years sales figure and we also introduced two new bridal designer’s whose gowns have all exceeded our bride’s expectations, along with our new hand made hair accessories, they have complimented our gown’s perfectly and are proving to be a popular choice, you really need to come and see us !
Our highlight for 2014 was our amazing location bridal shoot at England’s largest stately home ‘Wentworth Woodhouse’ we had the sole and exclusive use of this magnificent building, we sadly didn’t have enough time to explore all its 365 bedrooms but what we did find was the most breath taking marble ballroom.You could really imagine Lords & Ladies along with Royalty of years gone by, all swirling around this elegant space, we really were in our element, our beautiful gowns looked so perfectly suited being within this palatial space and we loved every minute of it too, luckily the weather was dry with a little sunshine, which meant we could explore the grounds too and get some fabulous outside shots !
Special thanks to our wedding industry colleagues who pulled out all the stops, taking a full day out of their business to help us create a location shoot fit for a Princess ! Your support and professionalism shone through, thank you to Amy Louise Brown Photography, Lee Fall Make up artist, National Award Winning Sensational Formal Hire, the incredibly talented florists at Fabulous Flowers and of course our beautiful models Steph & Ryan, last but not least our bridal designers Wendy Makin & Sophia Tolli for your beautiful gowns.
Our in-store events have also been successful and we have many more planned for 2015, kicking off the New Year is our famous Bridal Sale starting on Tuesday 6th January where bride’s can buy a designer bridal gown at a heavily reduced price, prices start from £199, this popular event is by appointment only and the sale gowns will be available throughout January, but if last year is anything to go by, they will sell quicker than hot cakes, so its best to be early and book in !
Special mention to all our wedding industry friends whom we have networked and supported with for many years, your loyalty is greatly appreciated and our bride’s can 100% trust our recommendations, making their wedding planning easy and stress free whilst giving them total piece of mind, which makes us happy too ! It’s also great to hear that you have all had a bumper year too, time to crack open that Champagne !
We have ended 2014 on a real high, not only have we smashed last years sales but I was given the title of ‘Resident Wedding Expert’ within the Barnsley Today magazine, the first issue went out at the beginning of December, the response and support I have received has been over-whelming and I love being creative.
So ! without further a-do, may we raise a glass to you and yours, Christmas is a time for friendship, caring & sharing, so love thy enemy ! life’s too short to worry about the past, a new year is about to begin lets raise a toast to lots of Christmas Engagements & to New Beginnings !
